Christmas at New Life
We live in a culture that strongly dislikes waiting. When packages arrive in a matter of hours, food is made fast, and self-serve kiosks attempt to prevent the discomfort of standing in long lines, we come to expect immediate service in every aspect of our lives. But what if God wants to grow us in the waiting?
The prophets of old foretold a king who would come, yet most of them did not live to see the birth of the long-awaited Messiah, Jesus Christ. Hundreds of years passed between the time of prophecy and fulfillment. Yet God was faithful and kept His promise. The same God who was faithful then is faithful still today.
Join us on Sunday, December 21st, at 10am, as we worship together & celebrate God's faithfulness this Christmas! At just the right point and time in human history, He reached into our broken world and sent us a Savior. You may be waiting for that special gift to arrive in the mail, or you may be anxiously waiting for all of the family to be together on Christmas Day. You may be waiting & praying for a loved one to return to Jesus, or you may be sitting in a hospital waiting room, waiting to hear the results. Whatever it is that you’re waiting for, Jesus can meet you right there in the midst of it, with a hope and peace that only He can bring.
We will have regular morning worship at 10am, and New Life Kids will be having a Cookie Party during their time together! Kids ministry will be offered for infants through 6th grade.
